Field recordings can be used for many purposes such as film, TV, radio, music, theatre and art instalations.
Often field recordings are used in musical pieces to add ambience and context to a musical statement.
The following two variations ('Sunny day in the forest and 'A perfect shell at the beach') originate from an 8 minute 30 second track called Am7.
The wave recording in 'A perfect shell at the beach' is from Inverloch Surf Beach. Whilst the forest birds in 'A sunny day In the forest' was recorded at Mount Worth National Park near Darnum.
The purpose of these two tracks is for a relaxation program designed for an experimental trial with dementia patients at aged care facilities.
